Some 200 protesters arrested in 4th night of unrest in Netherlands

Dutch police have arrested some two-hundred protesters in The Hague in the fourth night of unrest over the death of a Caribbean tourist at the hands of police.

The arrests were made for breaching a ban on public assembly after three nights of clashes led to the arrest of 61 people, mostly teenagers. Police say protesters threw rocks and fireworks at law enforcement officers.

The violence erupted after the death of 42-year-old Mitch Henriquez. He died on Sunday, a day after being forcefully arrested at a music festival, with initial autopsy results indicating the likely cause of death was suffocation. Mobile phone footage taken by witnesses showed several police officers restraining and sitting on Henriquez, before his limp body was put in a police vehicle.
