Venezuela Reinforces Military Deployment in Border with Colombia

Caracas, Aug 31 (Prensa Latina) The Venezuelan Government will deploy some 3,000 troops from different security forces in the special areas of the common border with Colombia in Tachira state (southwest) that were decreed recently by President Nicolas Maduro.

According to Governor of Tachira, Jose Vielma, there has not be real cooperation from the Colombian authorities in facing crimes like smuggling and paramilitarism. Read more.
