‘Flirting with far-rights’: Netherlands refuses to say sorry as rift with Turkey intensifies



The Netherlands is not the only state in Europe taking a tough stance on Turkish ministers holding rallies on their soil in support of Erdogan.

Germany, Switzerland and Austria have banned gatherings at a number of locations, citing security concerns. Worsening bilateral relations could also jeopardize the migrant deal currently in place with Ankara.
