Amnesty: Shell involved in Nigeria abuses in 1990s



Oil giant Royal Dutch Shell is denying the latest allegations of complicity in a military government campaign of murder, rape and torture in Nigeria’s oil-rich Ogoniland in the 1990s.

Amnesty International says Shell played a role in crimes against protesters, accusations the Anglo-Dutch oil company has denied. Al Jazeera's Ahmed Idris reports from Abuja. Read more.
