NATO Intensifies Air Raids on Libyan Civilian Targets

Tripoli, Jun 21 (Prensa Latina) As NATO attacked Libyan Army targets on Tuesday, the government accused it of carrying out selective air raids on civilian objectives, killing 19 people in the last 24 hours. NATO warplanes on Tuesday struck western regions of the country, where armed forces loyal to Muammar Gaddafi held back the Western-backed rebel offensive.

State television reports said the air raids also reached parts of Tripoli, but the sites, magnitude of the damage and possible victims were not specified. Read more.
