Annual Inflation Up to 2.7% in December

The annual inflation rate in Slovenia rose 0.4 percentage points to 2.7% in December as the seasonal clearance sales of clothing and footwear failed to offset the effects of the spike in energy and food prices over the past 12 months.

While prices measured by the consumer price index fell by 0.3% in December due to the clearance sales, the annual inflation rate jumped to 2.7% from the 2.3% in November. Read more.
