CELAC Summit opens in Santiago de Chile



The second Summit of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) officially opened Sunday in Santiago de Chile. As part of this event, the presidency pro tempore, which is currently in the hand of Chile, will be granted to the President of Cuba, Raul Castro.

The guidelines of action for 2013, as well as the evaluation of the progress made in the fulfillment of the agreements signed in the first summit are on the agenda.
