The scandal around allegations the US is spying on its European allies is snowballing - with Germany becoming the second country this week demanding a full explanation from Washington.

A fresh wave of indignation was sparked by claims the NSA was monitoring the phone conversations of Chancellor Angela Merkel herself. Hugh Bronson, from the Alternative for Germany party, joins RT to discuss this issue.
