No-Grow Zone: IDF destroys Palestinian crops in Gaza

The Israeli army has destroyed swathes of Palestinian crops in Gaza. The IDF used crop-dusters to spray herbicides damaging 400 acres of vegetables and other produce near the fence surrounding Gaza.

It's a lethal no-go zone unilaterally maintained by the IDF on the Palestinian side of the border. Farmers are normally allowed within 100 metres, but since there's no hard-and-fast rule, it's generally considered dangerous for civilians.

The destruction of the crops has got human rights groups rounding on Israel. Read more.
